Benjamin Rortvedt Goes Yard Sunday
3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Benjamin Rortvedt went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Royals. Rortvedt hammered the first pitch he saw of the day 417 feet into the left-center field seats at an exit velocity of 105.8 MPH for his first long ball of the season. The 23-year-old owns just a .179 batting average and .544 OPS this season, and is more of a defensive backstop.
