Bengals Retain Bill Lazor
7 years agoThe Cincinnati Bengals and head coach Marvin Lewis have decided to retain interim offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, giving him the position full time. Lazor was promoted to offensive coordinator two games into the season after the Bengals had failed to score a touchdown. Without organized team activities or preseason or anything else, Lazor was able to guide quarterback Andy Dalton to 25 touchdowns and only eight interceptions in his time as offensive coordinator. Lazor has been praised for his ability to play to Dalton's strengths as a quarterback. His placement as full-time OC should increase the value for Dalton heading into 2018 fantasy drafts.
