Bengals Prioritized Bolstering Offensive Line
3 years agoThe Bengals focused on upgrading the offensive line this offseason. After having one of the worst units in the league over the years, Cincinnati signed three free agents this offseason, specifically Ted Karras, Alex Cappa, and La'el Collins. Cincy also selected North Dakota State's Cordell Volson with the 136th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Unquestionably, the team knew that it needed to beef things up. However, after Aaron Donald sacked the Rams to a Super Bowl LVI victory, bolstering the line became even more necessary. Nonetheless, with the moves made already, Joe Burrow should have more time to throw the ball deep to Ja'Marr Chase, one of the league's best downfield threats. It may also open things up for Joe Mixon, who is coming off the best year of his career.
