6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons logged only eight minutes of action in Saturday's 116-115 win over Orlando, leaving early with back tightness. According to reports, Simmons felt his back stiffening up already before tip-off, but he decided to give it a go anyway. He had four points and four assists before heading for the locker room. The issue doesn't sound serious, but Simmons also had trouble with back tightness during the preseason, and it could come back and bother him again as the year progresses. T.J. McConnell will be looking at more playing time if Simmons isn't available, whilst the likes of Joel Embiid and J.J. Redick will get more touches on offense.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
