Ben Simmons Could Play A Couple Regular Season Games
3 years agoAccording to a report from ESPN's Ramona Shelburne and Adrian Wojnarowski, there is hope that Brooklyn Nets point guard Ben Simmons (spine) could play a "couple" of regular season games prior to the start of the postseason. Through ESPN's sources, Shelburne and Wojnarowski learned that the team had previously been targeting this Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers for Simmons' Nets debut. However, he'd been experiencing pain in his lower back while going rehabbing his lower spine injury, ruling out Friday as an option. We'll continue to wait for something more definitive, but this report at least seems to suggest that Simmons is moving in the right direction.
