Ben Silverman A Risky Option At PGA West
50 seconds agoBen Silverman kicked off his second PGA Tour season in eye-popping fashion, gaining 8.6 strokes putting en route to a T4 finish at the Procore Championship. But things quickly went downhill from there, as the 37-year-old Canadian posted finishes of T59, T46, and solo 69th-place in his three events since. In the 2024 American Express, he lost strokes off-the-tee, around-the-green, and putting en route to a missed cut, and there's little reason to believe he'll fare much better this year. While he is one of the better putters in the field, he ranks 97th on approach, 82nd around-the-green, 98th in opportunities gained, 79th in bogey avoidance, and 108th in strokes gained on easy courses. Fantasy managers should seek other options in the $6,000 range on DraftKings this week.
