Ben Johnson Could Have Interest In Bears Head-Coaching Job
1 min agoESPN's Adam Schefter thinks that Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson could have some real interest in the Chicago Bears' vacancy at head coach after they fired Matt Eberflus following their Thanksgiving loss to the Lions on Thursday. Johnson was one of the hottest head-coaching candidates during last year's cycle, but he instead took his name out of the running to run it back with Detroit after coming so close to advancing to the Super Bowl a season ago. Chicago's offense is certainly interesting after they took quarterback Caleb Williams first overall in this year's draft, and they also have plenty of firepower with receivers DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and rookie Rome Odunze. Johnson has been a big reason why the Lions have become one of the best teams in the NFL the last two years, but it remains to be seen if Chicago's head-coaching gig will interest him enough to leave Detroit.
