Ben Griffin A Player To Watch In Honolulu
11 months agoBen Griffin was a popular name for fantasy managers in the fall swing. The 27-year old American kicked his second PGA Tour season off in solid fashion, making the cut in five of six events while also posting two top-10 finishes. Griffin may be licking his chops as he returns to Waialae this week, having posted a T12 in his only start at this course last year while gaining over four strokes ball-striking and almost four strokes putting. Over the last 50 rounds, he ranks inside of the top-40 in the field in approach play and opportunities gained, and he's the third best putter on Bermuda greens. The former-loan-officer-turned-rising-PGA-star could find himself toward the top of the leaderboard Sunday and may even been an enticing outright bet at his current +8000 odds to win.
