Ben Bishop Notches His Second Win With 38-Save Effort
5 years agoDallas Stars goaltender Ben Bishop was on top of his game on Saturday against Philadelphia, producing 38 saves and a .974 save percentage in a 4-1 win. Sean Couturier beat him inside the opening minute, but Big Ben stood tall for the rest of the way to improve his record for the season to 2-4-1. The team has struggled at the start of the season, but Bishop has been solid with a 2.57 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage. He'll look to make it two wins on the bounce against his former team Ottawa on Monday against whom he has a 9-1-4 career record.
