The Chicago Bears released defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad on Friday, according to a source. The move comes after Muhammad had a tough season in his first year in Chicago. He played in 16 games and made nine starts, recording 29 tackles (15 solo), three QB hits, one sack and a forced fumble in 2022 while playing in a timeshare with Trevis Gibson. The 27-year-old had one year left on his contract, but he'll now get a head start on free agency this offseason. In his six NFL seasons, Muhammad has 157 tackles (103 solo), 23 tackles for loss, 33 QB hits, 12 sacks, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 84 games played (34 starts).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
