Bears Cut Running Back Ryan Nall
3 years agoThe Chicago Bears cut running back Ryan Nall on Tuesday. The 25-year-old out of Oregon State saw a lot of action for the team last year, but didn't do much that showed up on the box score. He played in all 16 games in 2020, but only rushed three times for zero yards while catching eight of his nine targets for 67 yards and a touchdown. David Montgomery is set to be the Bears' No. 1 back once again this year. Damien Williams will serve as his backup with rookie Khalil Herbert as the No. 3 back to open the year. Tarik Cohen (knee) will also factor into the equation once he's able to return. He's currently on the PUP list while recovering from his torn ACL last year.
