3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) will get a second opinion on the MRI results of his ailing left shoulder later this week. The MRI results will determine if Case Keenum or Mayfield will draw the start in Thursday's game against the Denver Broncos. The former No. 1 overall pick was listed as a non-participant in Monday's estimated practice. He suffered a labral tear in his left shoulder in Week 4 and aggravated the injury in Sunday's 37-14 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Mayfield plans to play through the injury, but head coach Kevin Stefanski will wait for the second opinion before deciding the team's starting QB for Thursday's game.
