2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield has been unproductive for fantasy so far this season and could struggle to turn things around in a Week 5 bout with the San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco has been the most difficult matchup for opposing quarterbacks through four weeks this season as they are allowing fewer than 10 fantasy points per game to the position. Mayfield has failed to exceed 200 yards passing or one touchdown in three straight games and the Panthers could opt to start Sam Darnold (ankle) when he is activated from Injured Reserve. Mayfield is only worth a roster spot in superflex or two-QB fantasy formats, and he's a desperation low-end QB2 in starting lineups this week.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
