2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 12 of his 25 pass attempts for 170 yards and one touchdown in a 22-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints. Despite the win, the struggles continue for Mayfield, who has completed less than 15 passes in two straight games. No Panthers finished with more than two receptions in Week 3. The Saints weren't an easy matchup, but it is still clear at this point that the offensive weapons in Carolina are not seeing a boost in fantasy value with Mayfield under center. He is not an ideal starter in any format but should continue to be rostered as a low-end QB2 in superflex or two-quarterback leagues.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
