3 years agoCleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (shoulder) received medical clearance on Thursday night and is expected to start on Sunday in a big divisional matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers despite a torn left labrum and shoulder fracture, according to a source. Mayfield has full range of motion and strength back in his shoulder, and his fracture his healing. The 26-year-old is practicing again on Friday, and he's hoping to put off surgery on his injured shoulder until the offseason. It's good news for the rest of the Browns offensive weapons, namely receivers Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr., but Mayfield will remain a low-end QB2 in this run-first offense against a tough Steelers defense in Week 8.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
