2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield completed 22 of his 36 pass attempts for 197 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in a 26-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He also lost a fumble in the second quarter. Despite throwing and completing the most passes he has all season, this was the third consecutive game in which Mayfield failed to reach 200 yards through the air. Mayfield had a soft matchup on paper as the Cardinals were bottom-10 in the league against fantasy quarterbacks heading into the week. This performance further cements Mayfield's inability to be trusted in any fantasy league. He is only worth rostering in two-quarterback or superflex formats but will not be a viable option in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
