Bailey Zappe Throws For Over 300 Yards In Win Over Browns
2 years agoNew England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe completed 24 of 34 passes for 309 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 38-15 win over the Cleveland Browns. The 23-year-old started Sunday's game against Cleveland when teammate Mac Jones (ankle) was ruled out. He set career-highs and led the Patriots to their second straight victory in Week 6. The fourth-round rookie connected with Hunter Henry for a 31-yard touchdown in the third quarter and found Tyquan Thornton for a two-yard touchdown for his two scores in Week 6. Zappe has played well and would be in line for another start if Jones cannot suit up against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night.
