Bailey Ober Strikes Out Six In No-Decision
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober put together another strong start in Wednesday's win over the Seattle Mariners. Though he didn't factor into the decision, Ober was strong over four shutout frames, allowing just one hit with no walks issued. He struck out six batters and registered a 22 percent CSW. Ober was lifted after just 63 pitches, which is frustrating for those who turned to him for fantasy purposes- though it's sensible for the Twins to manage the prospect's workload, considering he has never thrown more than 75 innings in any minor league season. Ober owns a 3.71 ERA over 17 innings pitched with a 21:2 strikeout-to-walk ratio across four starts. The innings limit severely hampers his fantasy value this year, though he is a sleeper to watch for next season, particularly in keeper formats.
