Bailey Ober Continues To Trend Up
5 months agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober put together his fourth straight quality start on Thursday versus the division rival Detroit Tigers. Ober tossed six innings and allowed seven hits, three runs (one earned), no walks and struck out eight on the day. Ober hit a bump in the road earlier in the year, but has been on a heater over his last four starts. In that span, he has tossed 27 1/3 innings and allowed five earned runs, five walks and recorded 35 strikeouts. Ober has always had the talent, but health and consistency have been his biggest cons. Pitching has been hard to come by in 2024 and managers that stayed patient with Ober are being rewarded. The right-hander will look to make it a fifth straight quality start when he faces the Chicago White Sox in a very favorable matchup.
