B.J. McLeod Not an Awful Place Differential Option at Atlanta
3 months agoB.J. McLeod probably isn't going to challenge for the race win at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend, but that doesn't mean you should avoid him entirely in DFS contests. McLeod qualified 36th for this weekend's Quaker State 400 race, which gives him great Place Differential upside in a race that could see plenty of attrition. McLeod is usually one of the low-tier drivers to consider for Place Differential at superspeedway tracks, and just a couple of weeks ago at Daytona, he was able to avoid the chaos and come away with a 19th-place finish after starting back in 38th-place. Earlier this year at Atlanta, B.J. started back in 36th and finished 24th when it was all said and done. McLeod also finished 20th here at Atlanta last season, so he's actually worth considering putting in your DFS lineups this weekend--at least compared to his normal playability rate of near zero.
