Avoid B.J. McLeod in DFS at Richmond
1 year agoOutside of superspeedway races, B.J. McLeod typically doesn't get much ownership share on DFS slates. This weekend, though, some fantasy players may look at McLeod's 21st-place qualifying effort and think about taking a chance on him. Don't fall for the trap. Track conditions varied wildly for the two groups during qualifying on Saturday, and McLeod does not have the speed to finish anywhere near where he starts. He was over one second slower in practice than the fastest driver, William Byron. This season, McLeod has an average finish of 28.7 and has ended up in 29th-place or worse in nine of his 14 starts (64.3%). With place differential being so important in DFS, B.J. McLeod can absolutely ruin your lineup at Richmond, as he will more than likely score negative FPTS.
