2 years agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews has been ruled out for at least three weeks with a knee injury. This is a bad blow for Matthews and the team, although he might be unavailable for only six games, with the All-Star break coming up soon and the Maple Leafs having their bye week on Feb. 2-9. Matthews has heated up lately and sits on 25 goals and 53 points for the season with 47 games played. John Tavares is set to move up to the first line in his absence, while Pontus Holmberg is expected to skate with the second unit Friday versus Ottawa.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
