Auston Matthews Extends Goal Streak To Three Games
6 hours agoToronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews scored in his third-straight contest on Wednesday evening against the Colorado Avalanche. Matthews would find the back of the net on the power play in the opening frame. Over his past three contests, Matthews has found the back of the net four times, including three times on the power play. Before this stretch, the 27-year-old tallied 10 points over his last nine games, but only two of them were goals. However, during this stint, he averaged an impressive 4.1 shots on goal per game. Through 53 total games this season, Matthews has scored 27 goals and added 34 helpers while averaging 4.1 shots on goal per game. Fantasy managers should continue to view Matthews as a high-end option in all DFS competitions. He will look to extend this streak to four games on Thursday against the Rangers.
