1 year agoNew York Yankees catcher Austin Wells is getting the call to the big league roster on Friday. The 24-year-old is regarded as one of the top catching prospects in baseball. This season, Wells is slashing .243/.335/.447 with 17 home runs and seven steals through 95 games in the minors. The expectation is that Wells is going to be the Yankees' catcher of the future. He should get regular at-bats down the stretch of the season in New York. He has a chance to be relevant right away in fantasy leagues.
