Austin Walter A Healthy Scratch For Jets
3 years agoNew York Jets running backs Austin Walter and La'Mical Perine are both inactive for the Week 18 regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills. Tevin Coleman is back in the fold on Sunday after missing last week's game due to COVID-19, so Walter will take a seat to close out the season. The 25-year-old will finish with only 26 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown in four games played. Walter added two catches for nine yards. Rookie Michael Carter should see most of the backfield work against a tough Bills defense, but Coleman and Ty Johnson could also pitch in behind him. Carter is the back you want to target in fantasy, but the presence of Coleman and Johnson could cap his ceiling as more of an RB3/flex.
