Austin Voth Shut Down For A Week
1 year agoBaltimore Orioles relief pitcher Austin Voth (elbow) is taking anti-inflammatories for his right elbow and has been shut down from throwing for a week after being placed on the injured list on Wednesday with right-elbow inflammation. The 30-year-old right-hander has been dealing with the elbow injury since spring training, so they'll give him a little time off to heal. In 23 appearances out of the bullpen for Baltimore in 2023, Voth has a 4.94 ERA (5.44 FIP), 1.58 WHIP, 14 walks and 31 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched. He's of little use in fantasy leagues and is currently rostered in 0% of Yahoo leagues.
