Austin Romine Sparks Comeback Yankees Win
5 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Austin Romine delivered a big home run late in Wednesday afternoon's game against the Diamondbacks to lead a game-winning rally. The club was trailing 3-2 in the seventh when the temporary starting catcher drilled a two-run home run that flipped the deficit into a one-run lead. It was Romine's lone hit of the day, but arguably the most important for the Yankees. They would tack on three more in the eighth before emerging with a 7-5 victory. This was New York's lone win in four games against Arizona this season.
