4 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Austin Nola went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBI and a run in Friday's loss to the Rockies. Nola has been swinging a hot bat lately putting up a triple slash of .324/.395/.588 with a home run and four doubles. For fantasy owners who are playing catcher roulette and picking up the hot hands, Nola could be a decent short-term option. However, he is not a long-term solution at catcher as his playing time will certainly take a hit when Tom Murphy returns from the injured list.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
