Austin Meadows Stays Red Hot, Drives In Five Thursday
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, five RBI and two runs scored in a 9-2 win over the Yankees on Thursday. After opening the season by slashing .218/.340/.425 in the month of April, Meadows has been more than making up for his slow start over his last 15 games, slashing .322/.437/.746 with six homers, one steal, 22 RBI and 14 runs scored. Most of that success has come in his last seven games alone, where he's slashed .440/.548/1.200 with five home runs, one steal, 15 RBI and nine runs scored. There's no hotter player in fantasy than Meadows right now, and managers should enjoy this hot streak for as long as it lasts.
