Austin Meadows Hits Two Home Runs Against The Angels
4 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows went 2-for-5 with both a solo and a three-run homer against the Los Angeles Angels during the club's 8-3 win on Tuesday. Meadows now has three homers in his past three games and has begun to show signs of breaking out in a big way. He entered tonight's contest with a 122 OPS+ and now has seven homers in 101 at-bats, which puts him on pace for at least 35 homers. Drafted early in most fantasy leagues, Meadows' managers are rooting for a multi-week breakout. With a promising schedule ahead, Meadows' managers should be optimistic for upward-trending results.
