Austin Hill Qualifies 37th For Cup Series Race At Darlington
2 mins agoAustin Hill is pulling double-duty at Darlington Raceway this weekend, as the Xfinity Series regular will be driving the No. 33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing in the Cup Series on Sunday. This will be Hill's 11th career start in NASCAR's top series. He currently owns an average finish of 27.5 through his first 10 starts. In practice at "The Lady in Black" this weekend, Hill was just 32nd-fastest on Saturday afternoon, and he qualified back in 37th for this weekend's Goodyear 400. He's priced at just $5,900 on DraftKings and has some Place Differential upside, but it's likely take a lot of attrition for Hill to move up above the high-20s on race day. This is the first race of five that Austin has on his schedule for this season. During media availability, he noted, "So yeah, I think I have a really good schedule for the five races. I'm going to learn a lot. A lot of different racetracks that we go to, so different techniques and everything that have to be shown. I'm excited to get in the Cup car today and see what we can do with our No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet."
