Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler was activated from the Reserve/COVID-19 list after missing Week 16, but will return to action against the Denver Broncos in Week 17. Backup running back Justin Jackson feasted in Ekeler's absence, but Ekeler should resume his full-time role against a tough Broncos defense. For the season, the Broncos are allowing 93 yards per game on the ground and four receptions for 38 yards in the air. When the teams met in Week 12, Ekeler was held to just 31 yards on 12 carries, but he was able to secure six receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown. With Jackson's strong performance in Week 16 and Ekeler coming off of a missed week, it's possible his workload is a little less than normal, but managers should still start him with confidence as a RB1.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
