2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler handled 13 carries for 35 yards and two touchdowns, adding two receptions for eight yards on four targets in the team's 31-30 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Ekeler helped Los Angeles take a commanding lead early in the first quarter, scoring both of his touchdowns within the first 15 minutes of action. Unfortunately, he was shut down by Jacksonville's defense in the second half and yielded some opportunities to Joshua Kelley as the Chargers unsuccessfully played to protect their lead. Although it ended in heartbreak, the 2022-2023 campaign was yet another sensational season for Ekeler, who will surely be selected near the top of all fantasy drafts next year.--Jorden Hill - RotoBaller
