2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler handled 13 carries for 60 yards and two touchdowns, adding six receptions for 49 yards and a receiving touchdown in a 34-24 victory over the Houston Texans. This is the type of performance fantasy managers were expecting when they selected Ekeler in the first round. He has been producing in PPR formats as a pass-catching threat, but the touchdowns were a welcome sight after he failed to find the end zone in the first three games. Sony Michel and Joshua Kelley were still involved this week but it was encouraging to see Ekeler with more rushing attempts than the two of them combined.
