1 year agoAustin Dillon never could get going at Richmond in the Spring. Dillon and his Richard Childress Racing Chevy stands 30th in the NASCAR points standings. About the only way Dillon can qualify for the playoffs now is a win. Statistically, this has been Dillon's worst year since 2015. Actually, his 21.9 average finish is identical to his 21.9 average start. Dillon qualified 17th for Richmond which was an 11 spot improvement over the Spring.
