6 months agoAustin Dillon proved a lot of pundits wrong on Sunday. Dillon and his Richard Childress Racing car improved 12 spots from his start. That resulted in a sixth which almost became a Top 5 result. The No. 3 Chevy needed one of these performances. He ended up in the Top 10 once and talk started to grow that Dillon might be on a very hot seat. Finishing where he did on Sunday quieted some rumors at least. The question more becomes how does Dillon fare at Sonoma. Dillon has been decent there with an average finish of 14.3 despite zero Top 10 results since 2021. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
