Austin Dillon Could Inch Up Field At Dover On Sunday
4 years agoAustin Dillon raced pretty well at Dover last year. Yes, the race was shortened to 311 laps but he did lead 49 laps once and finished ninth in the second installment. The Richard Childress Racing driver showed the speed and ability to handle the banking on the turns well. It boiled down more to losing track position later in longer runs. If Dillon's pit crew can adjust for that then the No. 3 could surprise on Sunday and possibly finish in the top ten once more.
