2 years agoAustin Dillon was among a string of Chevy's in the top ten in qualifying on Saturday for the Texas race. Dillon was eliminated from the playoff chase last week but qualified seventh with the No. 3 car averaging some solid top-five caliber times later in his laps. Dillon and his Richard Childress Racing car has done somewhat well at Texas. Well, there was that one time where he won the race (July 2020). To be fair, Dillon has run around the top ten in the past two Fall races as well. Also, he finished second in the All-Star Race while having some excellent late-lap speeds there too.
