1 year agoAustin Cindric started fifth last year at Michigan International Speedway. This year, Cindric begins 21st. An accident ended Cindric's afternoon then. That dropped him to 37th. It will be interesting to see how this race is approached. Cindric is 64 points out of a playoff spot but likely needs a win. His last top ten not on a road course was way back at Las Vegas in March.
