Austin Cindric Starts 22nd For New Hampshire Race
1 year agoAustin Cindric did turn last year's 28th-place qualifying effort into a 13th. What can the Team Penske driver do this season? For one, Cindric is 38 points out of a playoff spot and will need top results. The problem is the No. 2 Ford was slow in practice with an average lap of 31.057 seconds. Cindric's car looked tight in the first two turns and never truly recovered on most laps. Losing potentially a half second a lap bodes poorly to move up from a DFS standpoint unless his crew gets to the heart of the issue.
