Austin Cindric Is A Tournament Play With Some Risk At Atlanta
10 months agoAustin Cindric will start eighth at Atlanta looking to rebound after a promising Daytona 500 run where he led 13 laps but placed 22nd after a spin. In four Atlanta starts since 2022, Cindric has three finishes of 12th or better while leading in the last three Cup events. Cindric is known for his proficiency with drafting tracks as he placed in the Top 10 in five of his 14 total Cup starts to date at Daytona, Talladega, or Atlanta. Despite his fast qualifying run showing that his car is faster than most, Cindric's starting position makes him a DFS risk. It is recommended that Cindric is rostered for tournaments because while his history of finishes at drafting tracks is decent, it is still not as consistent as others.
