Ausar Thompson Cleared By NBA's Fitness-To-Play Panel
1 week agoDetroit Pistons forward Ausar Thompson (illness) had his rookie season cut short with a blood clot issue back in March and hasn't been able to play with the team since then. Now, as reported by Shams Charania, the dynamic wing has been cleared to return to the floor by the NBA's fitness-to-play panel. He'll likely take some more time to ramp up and get his conditioning back up to speed, but the Pistons will get back an important piece to their youth movement. Last year, he averaged 8.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.3 turnovers per game.
