6 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons defense/special teams returned a nice Week 16 performance against the Carolina Panthers. In terms of real world numbers it was a super day with two sacks, three interceptions, a forced fumble and just 10 points surrendered. In terms of fantasy points, all it was missing was a score and it would have been a super outing. However, compared to other performance this season, it was a welcome return for fantasy owners of this defense. Heading into Week 17 presents more opportunities for turnovers, with Jameis Winston under center, but it also presents the opportunity to concede plenty of points. Therefore, the Falcons defense is a middling unit this upcoming week for fantasy purposes.--Ben Rolfe
