The Houston Astros are in search of a new manager after Dusty Baker retired at the end of the 2023 season. It appears that it didn't take the Astros too long to find a replacement. The organization is expected to name current bench coach Joe Espada as the new head coach. The 48-year-old has been the bench coach in Houston since 2018. He has interviewed for numerous managerial positions over the past few offseasons. Now, it appears the Astros are ready to name Espada their new manager.
