Astros Call Up Trey Cabbage From Triple-A
6 months agoThe Houston Astros called up outfielder Trey Cabbage from Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, sending down infielder Grae Kessinger. Cabbage was called up as a buffer for outfielder Kyle Tucker (shin), who was injured after fouling a ball off his shin in Monday's win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Tucker said X-rays showed nothing was broken, but "Right now, it's just kind of hurting." Fantasy managers are breathing a sigh of relief, knowing that Tucker will not be out long-term. Cabbage is hitting .214/.214/.286 with three RBI and two runs scored over 10 appearances with the Astros. He is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals and can be left on the waiver wire in most leagues.
