5 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera (back) was scratched from the starting lineup on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays due to a stiff back. It affected Shin-Soo Choo, was expected to get the day off, but was back atop manager Chris Woodward's lineup. As far as Cabrera, he is slashing .228/.310/.406 with 12 doubles, 11 homers and 43 RBI across 73 games. He isn't a bad fantasy option in AL-only leagues for his power potential and versatility from an eligibility perspective, just plan to have plenty of help in the batting average category.--Daniel Dobish
