Artavis Scott Puts Up A Strong Game
5 years agoThough he didn't get a touchdown, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Artavis Scott led the team in receiving yards on Sunday when facing the Saints. Scott also had the longest gain of the day when he hauled in a 31-yard pass from backup quarterback Easton Stick in the final minute of the game. Scott is one of a few wide receivers battling to be the team's fourth or fifth option on the outside, and he looks to be in the thick of the fight. It's not clear yet who will take the spots, but Scott should be considered one of the strongest competitors for the position. If he can make the squad, he could find himself getting a lot of looks with a set of injury-prone receivers in front of him.
