Art Warren Starts Rehab Assignment On Saturday
2 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Art Warren (forearm) is starting a rehab assignment on Saturday at Triple-A Louisville. The 29-year-old reliever has been dealing with a right flexor pronator strain in his right arm since the beginning of July. He'll get a few minor league games under his belt before joining the Reds sometime in mid-August. Warren put together a rough 6.91 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 30:15 K/BB ratio across 28 2/3 innings of relief before going down. Despite his struggles, he did notch three saves and four holds and figures to be in the mix for high-leverage situations once he returns to action.
