Aroldis Chapman Shuts The Door Once Again
4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman notched his eighth save of the season on Tuesday night. Chapman shut the door on the Rays, working an easy ninth despite surrendering a walk. The hard-throwing southpaw remains a perfect 8-for-8 in save chances and still has yet to allow a run along with a ridiculous 30:5 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Chapman appeared to grimace during his appearance, though manager Aaron Boone said he was dealing with a fingernail issue and will be fine. That's good news for fantasy managers who are reaping the benefits of rostering Chapman, who might be on his way to the best season of his career.
