Aroldis Chapman Shut Down for Two Weeks
6 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman (knee) has been shut down and will be re-evaluated in two weeks after receiving a platelet-rich plasma injection in his ailing left knee. Chapman has battled tendinitis throughout the season and it became too much for him, forcing Chapman to the disabled list this week. Dellin Betances is the favorite candidate for saves, but Zach Britton will be in the mix as well.
